Seattle Tennis Courts
Seattle has nearly 150 tennis courts, and while a majority of tennis courts are outside, inside tennis courts are available as well. Most of the Seattle tennis courts are part of the Seattle Parks System, with over 100 outdoor courts spread around the city and 6 indoor courts at the Amy Tennis Center. There are a few courts available at local high schools, and a number of private courts, both outdoor courts belonging to communities and private indoor tennis clubs.
The Seattle Parks and Recreation has over 100 outdoor tennis courts spread between 50 different parks, as well as six indoor courts at the Amy Yee Tennis Center. All the outdoor courts are concrete, with the exception of Kinnear Park tennis court which is blacktop, and a number of courts also sport lights and a backboard. Reservations for outdoor courts may be made two weeks in advance for $10 an hour, via either the reservation site or by contacting the Amy Yee Tennis Center, however no same day bookings are allowed. If a court is available the day of, it is first come first serve and there is no fee (use the reservation platform to view available courts the day of).
Discovery Park Tennis Courts
Discovery Park, located in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, has two concrete tennis courts, near the southeast corner of the park. There is no parking directly adjacent to the tennis courts, however the east parking lot next to Discovery Park visitor center is a couple hundred yards away.

Gilman Park Tennis Courts
Gilman Park, located in the West Woodland (Ballard) neighborhood of Seattle, has two concrete tennis courts situated in the Southwest corner of the park next to the bathrooms. The courts and nets are in reasonably good shape, however, there are no lights or backboard available at these courts.

Green Lake Park East Tennis Courts
There are three tennis courts at this location, which is situated in the East end of the Park next to the Green Lake Community Center. The courts and nets are in good shape. Of note, these courts have been lined for pickleball as well, and on the last visit there were a number of moveable pickleball nets at the tennis courts.

Green Lake Park West Tennis Courts
Green Lake Park, in the Green Lake neighborhood, has two tennis courts at the Western edge of the park off of West Green Lake Drive North. The courts are in reasonably good shape, and there is parking nearby.

Jefferson Park Tennis Courts
Jefferson Park, in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, has a total of four tennis courts, split into two sets of two. The tennis courts are located in the Northeastern section of the park just off of Beacon Avenue. The courts have lights, and there is a parking lot adjacent to the courts, however it does fill up quickly when a lot of people are using the park. There are bathrooms available in the park a short walk away.

Kinnear Park Tennis Court
Kinnear Park, in the lower Queen Anne Hill neighborhood of Seattle, has a single blacktop tennis court located in the eastern edge of the park (also referred to as Lower Kinnear Park). The court sits on the side of a steep hill within the park, and requires taking a walking path to access, with the easiest access being from Roy Street.

Magnolia Park Tennis Courts
Magnolia Park, in the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle, has two concrete tennis courts in the northeast corner of the park at the junction of West Howe Street and Magnolia Boulevard West. The courts are in reasonably good shape, and while not as popular as the Magnolia Playfield courts, still see a fair amount of use.

Magnolia Playfield Tennis Courts
Magnolia Playfield, in the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle, has four concrete tennis courts located at the corner of 34th Ave West and West Smith Street in great shape. All four tennis courts are also lined for pickleball, and these courts often fill up quickly with both tennis and pickleball players. Reservations are advised for weekends and during good weather.

Soundview Playfield Tennis Courts
Soundview Playfield, located in the Crown Hill neighborhood, has two hard surfaced courts in reasonably good shape located in the Northwest corner of the park, which were recently re-lined to accommodate both tennis and pickleball. Bathrooms are a short walk away towards the middle of the park.

Woodland Park Lower Tennis Courts
Woodland Park, located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, has two sets of tennis courts, and the lower courts mentioned here are located in the Eastern section of the Park, and are accessed off of West Greenlake Lake North. There is ample parking next to the courts, however the area does fill up quickly on the weekend. There are a total of 10 tennis courts available, and they are divided by fencing into five sets of two. Courts 1 & 2 are available for drop-in only, and the courts are used by local school teams on a regular basis. The nets and courts are in great shape, and there are lights available.

Woodland Park , located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, has two sets of tennis courts; the upper courts mentioned here are located on the Southern Edge of the park off of 50th street. There are 4 courts available, and they are in reasonably good shape. The parking lot nearby has been closed in recent years, but there is street parking available nearby.

Ballard High School Tennis Courts
Ballard High School has four hard surfaced courts located north of the main building off of NW 67th Street. The courts are available for the public during non-school hours and outside of school use of the courts (boys and girls tennis teams use the courts after school for practice in the spring). While there are lights on the courts, these are typically only used for school events and generally not on at night. Public use of the courts doesn't require a fee, and there is no ability to reserve the courts.

Blue Ridge Tennis Courts
These two well maintained hard surface tennis courts in the Blue Ridge neighborhood are private, and are available to members of the Blue Ridge Homeowners Association and their guests. However, non-residents who wish to utilize the Blue Ridge Tennis Courts can register for lessons via their tennis program.
