Seattle Pickleball Courts
Even though Pickleball has its roots in the Puget Sound, pickleball courts were hard to find in Seattle until recently. Seattle Parks and Recreation launched a pickleball pilot program in 2020, lining a small number of tennis courts in Seattle Parks and providing portable nets as well. And there are a few private pickleball courts spread around the city as well.
Seattle Parks and Recreations have a total of 77 outdoor pickleball courts, with all currently being dual striped courts. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance for pickleball courts, however no day-of bookings are allowed. If a court does not have a reservation it is available for drop in play on a first come basis. Seattle Parks and Recreation are in the planning phase of increasing the number of pickleball courts through continuing to dual strip tennis courts, converting existing tennis courts to pickleball and building a new dedicated pickleball facility (concept plans for Genesee and Magnuson parks). A number of the community centers run by Seattle Parks, including International District, Loyal Heights and Ravenna offer drop-in hours for indoor pickleball as well.
Discovery Park Pickleball Courts
Discovery Park, in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, has 4 dual lined pickleball courts located near the East Parking lot and Discovery Center. There are no moveable nets at this location, the line markings are faded and the court surface is beginning to show its age. These courts are not nearly as popular as the Magnolia Playfield courts.

Green Lake Park Pickleball Courts
Green Lake Park, in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle, has dual lined courts next to the Green Lake Community Center on the East side of the park. There are a total of 6 pickleball courts, with 6 moveable pickleball nets in place as well. The two Green Lake tennis courts on the West side of the park have not been lined as of yet.

Magnolia Playfield Pickleball Courts
Magnolia Playfield, located in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, has eight dual lined pickleball courts with two moveable nets available. The courts are located at the southwest corner of the park off of 34th Ave and West Smith Street. The courts are in great shape and very popular on weekends.
